Growing at home

You don’t necessarily need a grow tent or fancy equipment. You do need humidity, fresh air, indirect light, and temperatures suited to your chosen mushroom. Requirements vary by species and your home environment.

Before opening, check that your block is fully colonized. Contact us for help choosing a variety or getting started, or explore our mushroom growing guides. Block weight refers to the growing substrate, not the weight of mushrooms you will harvest. Yields and timing vary with growing conditions.
